The picture with the torpedo level shows how close the conductors are to hitting the door when the door's closed. The ballpoint pen is pointing to the simple change that could be made to resolve this problem. They just need to move these mounting bars back from the door. This transfer switch is going to work for 240v AC, but I won't recommend switching under a heavy load. In the pictures you can see the contactors are a little flimsy and I think if you need to switch often, or under load, you should probably spend a little more and buy a Square D, or at a minimum get one that's UL certified. This transfer switch is not UL certified and cannot be used in a grid tied application, or any job that's getting inspected.
