The Silicon Power (SP) Superior Pro 256GB microSDXC card is an affordable with great read and write performance. The SP card is on the lower end of the price range for 256GB microSDXC cards but since I've used storage products from them, including the 128GB microSDXC, I was expecting solid performance. The SP card is a UHS-I card, with a UHS speed class rating of U3 and video speed class rating of V30, so it is fully capable of recording 4K video. SP claims read speeds up to 100 MB/s and write speeds up to 80 MB/s.I tested the card on my Surface Laptop 3 and MacBook Pro with my Kingston UHS-I card reader and AJA System Test and got similar results: 70 MB/s Write, 95 MB/s Read. This is excellent performance for a microSDXC card in this price range. I compared against some of my other U3, V30 microSDXC cards (128 and 256 GB capacities): - SanDisk Extreme 128GB microSDXC: 70 MB/s Write, 90 MB/s Read - Silicon Power 128GB microSDXC: 68 MB/s Write, 85 MB/s Read - SEKC 256GB microSDXC: 75 MB/s Write, 85 MB/s ReadThe price to performance ratio is very good for this SP card, especially for under $30. I also tested the car using H2testw and it completed without errors, so no faked storage here. Great value and very pleased with purchase.
