It's a nice silicone shell that keeps the plastic safe from scratches. I haven't drop tested it, so I don't know how damage resistant it is. The case can seem a bit loose around the face buttons, but I won't mark it down because I don't know if that isn't to be expected with silicone.I purchased this protective sleeve for scratch and dust resistance and added grip. For the most part, this product delivers. The sleeve is very thin, so it won't prevent the console from fitting into a carrying case. The color is a near perfect match for the console color (gray), which is nice. The openings and button covers are accurately positioned, which is excellent.The sleeve fits snugly over some portions of the console, but unfortunately loses a star for having noticeable, bothersome gaps in other places. Although I was careful not to stretch the material when putting the sleeve on the console, it nevertheless fits a bit loosely over the top of the screen, and there is a BIG gap where the material is actually raised over the right side of the screen. These gaps are mostly visually bothersome, and do not impact my ability to comfortably access buttons - they just make the product look and feel almost 50% cheaper than it is, and allow more dust in.With respect to comfort and grip: while the sleeve is comfortable to touch, it provides minimal, if any, grip enhancement. The sleeve doesn't feel any more "grippy" to me than the matte console texture - the material is actually quite supple, and although I wouldn't go so far as to call it "slippery", I don't feel like I'm any less likely to drop the console while holding it with this sleeve on than without. Speaking of dropping the console, do NOT buy this if you're looking for any kind of drop protection, because it doesn't offer any (I was not expecting it to, but in case you're looking at the words "shock absorption" in the description - don't).At the price point, I would have preferred a snugger fit. I also would have preferred a more textured material. Aside from those two gripes, I actually think it's a solid product if you're JUST looking for something to keep scratches and dust off the console body.As you can see it didn’t fit well.Not much to say. It won't prote t your device from drops, but will protect it from scratches and whatnot.Got this for sons Nintendo switch lite he was getting foot christmas. Once all was open I put it on and it fits it like a glove. Still pliable so I can move it to see underneath if I need. (The buttons on the switch are white. But the case just has them grey and marked in the silicone.) So the button positions are hard to see if you don’t know where the buttons are, which we didn’t because it’s our first switch lite. In that regard I wish the buttons were colored white or something so they were more visible, BUT it does the job of protecting those buttons and the area they sit in from getting dirty or gunk in them. I may use a paint marker and color the button markings for my six year old. It’s also thin, which I like. But may not hold up to extreme and constant drops. Outside that, it’s a great case. And it’s doing exactly what we need it to.Color match was spot onLooks and feels like it'll protect my device. The cutout for the D-pad is a bit stretched, but still fits and allows full movement of all buttonsI don't usually leave reviews but this was so ungodly awful that I felt compelled to. What struck me when I opened it was how slippery it was; if you put on this case your switch it will be more protected but you will definitely drop it more making this case effectively useless. That was bad enough but I also noticed an incredibly unpleasant smell on my hands after using it for a short while. I sniffed the case and it was genuinely the most horrendous odour I have ever experienced. As I write this review I am reeling from the headache it gave me and can still almost taste it in my mouth. Worst insult to the injury of it being a terrible case in the first place. 0/5 if I could. Pathetic.It's a nice colour and feels nice to hold but doesn't fit snugly enough around the screen for my liking; it gapes a bit which may be due to the fact that you have to stretch it to get it onIts lose around screen and controls and it doesn’t look nice. Color matches de switch little coral and the back fits perfectly.Lovely case. It doesn't add any real noticeable size to the console. There is the smallest amount of sag next to the top length but overall it does not interfere with game play.The colour was great, definitely none slip material, unfortunately the cover didn’t fit snug at all & flapped around, leaving a lot of gaping sections on it. It lasted 1 day before it got caught & broke.
