Refurbished Nintendo Wii U Gamepad Controller WUP-010_CR - Black | Official Nintendo Licensed | Perfect for Wii U Gaming & Multiplayer Fun

I just dug up my WiiU from moving to a new house and being able to play some of favorite games like Legend Of Zelda Windwaker and Super Mario Maker takes me way back. The game pad looks and feels great.It worked the first day and a half then refused to charge. I tried the cords with my old Wii U and it charged, so cords were not the issue. Tried again several days later and it mysteriously decided to charge and I haven't had that problem since. Ive had an issue off and on with the sound of the game pad turning down off when the gameplay isn't on the game pad. When I switch back to the game pad, the volume works...its weird. It doesn't always do this. I guess its refurbished as well as could be. I'm giving a four stars to make up for my initial 1 star review when it stopped working. If it's blotchy like this s, its doubtful they ran into the problem with refurbishing it.Came packaged in a wii u game pad box which is perfect because it's a gift. I did open it to inspect it and it looks perfect. I turned it on and it needs to be set up with the wii u but the screen looks perfect. I'll update again once my son begins to use it. He's on punishment now for breaking the last game pad so he won't get this one until July 9th, his birthday.UPDATE: July 11th -- it works perfectly! No complaints!!After buying a kit to repair LCD with no luck (my husband took over a hour replacing it watching the YouTube tutorial) it wouldn't turn on but the res light was on. I took the chance on getting a refurbished one even with some negative reviews. Took a few tries to sync but we are up and running!!! Also got it same day shipping my sons are so excited. Looked very clean packaging was nice and came with another charger and base. Glad I didn't try to get one from eBay. You have a very happy momma here, and on my due date today they will be able to have some wiiu fun!! Thank you Amazon!!! Def saved money and shipping was in one day you can't beat that,I ended up immediately getting the first one replaced because it wouldn't work correctly unless your were standing within 2 feet of the game console. Which is crazy. Turned around and the replacement did the exact same thing. I'm now waiting for my refund. It worked perfectly fine when you were within 2 feet of the console and if you don't have any problems standing up or moving furniture to be that close to the game console then you should definitely buy this. The sellers were very professional,however.The Wii U game pad arrived on time as stated. Game pad was in like new condition and has worked perfectly so far with no problems. I gave a four star rating on the fun to play line as a mark against Nintendo, not the supplier of this game pad. The Wii U system is practically useless without this game pad. Nintendo has a cash cow with this, knowing mostly children would be using this system. This is a great alternative to replacing with an entire new system at double the price or trying to fix it yourself.Charging cable is not an official Nintendo cable. Looks similar, has no logo or copyright anywhere on it. So 4 stars. I'm not unhappy, but if you're reading this... Do your homework before you spend this kind of money.
